Decorate your Tree like a Professional
Step 1
Ribbon- Ribbon gives the tree depth. Ribbon can also add a pop of color or texture and fill in gaps in your tree.
Step 2
Garland- Mix and match garland for a fun variety. For example felt balls and the glitter stars shown below.
Step 3
Large "Ornaments"- There are so many options with large ornaments. Some ideas are a cute vintage home, an elf, bottle brush trees, big ornament balls, snowflakes, etc. Try to always design in a triangle with these pieces and use odd numbers. Remember to place these large items either inside the tree or on the outs. Wire is a great trick to keeping these larger items in place!
Step 4
Fill in with all ornaments. Decorate your tree with your remaining ornaments. Some being hung some set in. It is good to stagger the placement of your ornaments.
