Marshmallows

1/4 cup Red Pop Rocks

1/4 cup Blue Pop Rocks

1/4 cup blue sugar sprinkles

1/4 cup red sugar sprinkles

Water

Toothpicks

Black licorice (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

1. In two separate small bowls, start by mixing your red sugar with your red pop rocks and your blue sugar with your blue pop rocks. Set aside.

2. Put one marshmallow on the end of a toothpick and dip 3 to 4 times in your water.

3. Immediately following, dip the water-coated marshmallows into your red mixture. Make sure the entire marshmallow is coated.

4. Push a straw through the center of the marshmallow.

5. Add two more marshmallows to the straw, pushing them down until the straw reaches the top of the marshmallow.

6. Dip the one on the end in the water, followed by your blue sugar mixture.

7. Repeat this process until all your marshmallows and straws are used up.

8. Lay completed pops on a cookie sheet or a piece of wax paper until you're ready to serve them.

Notes:

- To create a fuse effect, insert a small piece of sliced black licorice so it sticks out of the top of the marshmallow.

Stick these upright in a jar filled with dried blue beans or sugar to create a stunning, edible centerpiece for your dessert table.
