Recipe

INGREDIENTS

Your choice of BBQ rub

Your choice of hardwood (hickory, mesquite, apple, pecan, etc.)

Rack of ribs

Apple Juice

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Heat the smoker to 220°F.

2. Baste ribs with BBQ sauce and cook in the smoker for 3 hours.

3. After 3 hours, remove the ribs and quickly double wrap them in heavy duty foil. Before sealing, splash on some apple juice and close the foil, leaving some room around the ribs for the seam to be able to flow around the meat.

4. Cook in the smoker for 2 hours undisturbed.

5. After 2 hours, remove the ribs from the smoker, unwrap and place back into the smoker for the final 1 hour. You can add a glaze or sauce at this point if you wish.
