Belgian Sugar Waffles

The Recipe
INGREDIENTS
3 1/2 cups flour
2 1/4 tsp yeast
3/4 cup milk, warmed
1 cup butter, soft
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
8 oz Belgian pearl sugar

Instructions
Dissolve yeast in warm milk, milk should be slightly warm to the touch. Let sit 5 minutes.
Combine all ingredients except pearl sugar together. Let dough rise until doubled in size, approx. 30 minutes. Can make the night before and let dough rise in fridge overnight. Fold in pearl sugar. Divide dough in to 3-4 oz pattes, dough is the consistency of cookie dough. Cook in well-greased waffle iron. Makes about 8 waffles.
