Step by Step Guide

Materials:

- Base: A wire wreath ring, grapevine wreath, straw wreath, or foam wreath.

- Greenery: In the wreath above: Bay, Oregonia, Parfavolia, Agonis, Gunni Eucalyptus, Seeded Eucalyptus 

   Other Greenery you could use: Evergreen branches, holly, ivy, or dried flowers. 

- Decorations: In the wreath above: Tinted Salidago, Silver Eryngium, Strawflowers. 

   Other Decorations you can use: Pinecones, berries, ribbons, bows, ornaments, or artificial flowers. 

- Wire or twine:To secure decorations. 

- Scissors or clippers: To cut greenery and decorations. 

Instructions: 

1. Prepare the base: If using a grapevine or straw wreath, fluff it up to your desired shape. If using a foam wreath, wrap it with greenery to cover the foam. 

2. Cut Greenery: This can be tricky. Cut your greenery about 6-12" tall. 

3. Add greenery: You definitely want to "fan out" your greenery on your base before you start wiring it to the base. Start by placing larger pieces of greenery around the outside of the base. Fill in any gaps with smaller pieces in the middle and the inside of the wreath. Secure the greenery with wire or twine. 

4. Incorporate decorations: As you choose decorations for your wreath. You can place them randomly, create a specific pattern, or focus on a particular area. Secure the decorations with wire or twine. 

5. Finish the wreath: Once you get close to finishing your wreath make sure you lift up your first bundle so your greenery does not get wired into the last bundle. Your first bundle will cover the wiring of your last bundle. Then you will flip your wreath over and cut a long piece of your wire. Intertwine and connect your cut wire into your wire attached to the wreath ring. 

6. Finish with accents: Add finishing touches like ribbons, bows, or ornaments to complete your wreath. 

7. Hang the wreath: Doors, walls or fireplace mantels are perfect!
