Quiche


Quiche: The ultimate brunch chameleon! This recipe is your canvas for culinary creativity. Recipe

INGREDIENTS

1 9in. Unbaked pie shell (or crustless)

8 slices bacon cooked crisp and crumbled (pre-cooked works best)

1/2 lb shredded cheese. Swiss, cheddar, pepper jack, Monterey Jack or combination of any.

2 oz grated parmesan cheese or feta (optional)

2 tbsp flour

1/2 tsp salt

3 eggs beaten (can add up to 6 eggs)

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup assorted veggies** 



INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Form crust in a pie dish. Bake crust for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and reduce heat to 325°F. 

2. Mix all ingredients together and pour over the crust. (For crustless, grease the pie dish well, then pour in the mixture)

3. Cook for 40-50 minutes or until set in the middle. 

4. Let cook for 15 minutes before serving. 



**Optional assorted veggies: Spinach, Roma tomatoes, green onions, sautéed mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, pesto, diced ham, broccoli. Anything you want!
