Getting your table Thanksgiving ready

Creating your tablescape in 5 easy steps:

1. Start with a table runner or table cloth. This is the foundation of your tablescape, so choose one that is festive and fits the mood of the occasion.

2. Add place settings. Each place setting should include a dinner plate, salad plate, and possibly a bread plate, fork, knife, spoon, and napkin. You can also add place cards, which will help your guests find their seats.

3.Choose/Create a centerpiece. A centerpiece is the focal point of your table, so make it something special. You can use a variety of materials, such as flowers, fruits, vegetables, or candles. Get creative and have fun with it.

4. Add personal touches. Make your table setting extra special by adding personal touches. You can use family photos, vintage dishes, or other items that have meaning to you. Candles are another great item. They add a touch of elegance and warmth to any table setting. Choose candles in a variety of colors and heights to create a dramatic effect.

5. Have fun with it! Don't be afraid to add pops of color or mix and match patterns and textures.

Thanksgiving is a time to pause and reflect on the blessings in our lives. It is a time to express gratitude for our family, friends, and all that we have. It is a time to give back to those in need. The spirit of Thanksgiving is one of giving and sharing. It is a time to come together as a community and celebrate our shared values. It is a time to remember the importance of compassion and empathy.
